OUR STORY
Founded in 2009, Kiva Boutique was born from a moment of inspiration during a European getaway. It was while exploring charming local shops that Josée Madore, an experienced fashion designer, envisioned bringing that same intimate and curated shopping experience to the picturesque village of Pointe-Claire.
A true fashion enthusiast, Josée felt something was missing locally—boutiques that offered a personalized touch and a distinctive selection beyond mainstream brands. Inspired by the elegance and uniqueness of European neighborhood stores, she set out to create a destination where women could discover style that feels both effortless and refined.
With over 15 years of experience designing women’s sportswear, launching Kiva was a natural next step. From day one, her vision was clear: to offer clothing that combines quality fabrics, flattering comfort, and a modern, timeless aesthetic.
What began as a small 790-square-foot boutique quickly grew into something much bigger. Following immediate success, Kiva expanded its collection to include around thirty carefully selected brands, all chosen for their craftsmanship, versatility, and signature sporty-chic style.
Today, Kiva offers a complete fashion experience. From clothing to shoes, handbags, and jewelry, every piece is thoughtfully curated—allowing clients to create a full look in one place, effortlessly.
In 2017, the boutique doubled in size, elevating the in-store experience and creating space for exclusive events such as fashion shows, private gatherings, and style workshops. Over the years, Kiva has become more than a boutique—it’s a vibrant community where women connect, share, and celebrate fashion together.
As the world evolved, so did Kiva. In recent years, the boutique has embraced digital transformation, with a fully developed online store and an active presence on social media. Through engaging weekly content, Josée and her team continue to inspire and connect with their clientele in meaningful ways.
Now celebrating over 17 years in business, Kiva Boutique has become a must-visit fashion destination for women across Montreal’s West Island—an address synonymous with style, authenticity, and connection.
